Excellent Heli That Can Be Easily Modified For Advanced Pilots, February 7, 2012

This little machine just has an alluring look about it. If you like flying mini helis, this one is a "must have!" It flys great, right out of the box. Trims out easily, and holds it's setting throughout flight. It's just slow for those of us that are advanced pilots who want more speed. I've watched alot of Youtube videos on different mods that create more speed, but all of them require too much sacrifice of flight time, or durability, or asthetics, or something else that effectively ruins this cool little heli. Not to worry, because I've found the way to get what you want, within reason. Take the two screws out and pull the canopy forward, taking care for the light wires. Cut a piece of 1/8" lead solder, 2" long, and bend it to form a "v". Make this fit into the bottom of the nose canopy, straddeling the light wire connection, and glue it in place with some modeling cement, and re-install the canopy. It will fit a little tight under the battery, carefully push the canopy into place, and install screws. This will give you an excellent combination of speed and controlability that will greatly improve upon the original performance. Easy to do! Have fun, and enjoy!

Awesome Helicopter - Incredible Value, February 6, 2012

This is without question one of the best toys that I own. You can't have more fun for $25. Period.

My wife bought me one for Christmas last year. It sat in my office, unopened and unused, for nearly 50 days because I was afraid to fly it. I figured that it cost well over $100 and that I would crash, destroy it within minutes. When I learned that it only cost $25 I couldn't open the box fast enough.

It is awesome.

It is easier to fly than you would ever expect. Within minutes my friends and I were weaving in and out of girders, over ceiling fans and even hovering over my buddy's brand new Harley (I don't advise you try this). It is a blast.

I swear the $25 price tag has to be an error so I ordered three more just to have on hand when friends come over or the first one dies, although I'm not sure that is ever going to happen, We have crashed it numerous times (not into the bike) and it still flies just as well as it did out of the box.

I have even allowed my three and five year old daughters to play with it. Both can get it off the ground and the five year old can even do basic maneuvers after only a couple of test runs. The three year old shot it to the roof and dive bombed the cat but it and the helicopter survived without a scratch.

It is an awesome toy. Buy one.

Easiest to Fly Helo, February 5, 2012

This is by far the easiest helicopter to fly. I gave up on buying remote control helicopters because none of the one I bought are stable enough for beginners to learn to fly. This helo fly right out of the box without any tweaking. I bought a gas powered helo and couldn't get it off the ground, what a waste of money. I bought 3 other electric helos and they all crashed within minutes of flying. I almost gave up hope on buying a rc helo. I bought this helo because of the great reviews on Amazon. Thank you Syma for making a helo that is truly easy to fly. I've landed hard it hard numerous times, I've hit it into the ceiling several times, I've hit the blades on the end table several times. It's so durable nothing is broken yet. I love this helo. I bought one for my cousin for his birthday.

I bought this for my little brother for Christmas and he loves it! he himself is to scared to actually fly it but he does enjoy watching it fly around and he also likes calling out the names of people in the room to chase with it. I was actually thinking of buying a couple more because they run out of battery life fairly quick so it would be nice to have a spare charging and also I WANT 1!!! lol

I ordered this for my grandson and all I could hear on the phone were shrieks of joy! he loved it and even at 10, he had no problems flying it out of the box. He called me the other day and said it is so much fun. He does not like to have to wait for the recharge but it teaches him patience. Best buy I have made in ages!
